Just in time for the Super Bowl 2019, New Jersey residents now have another alternative when it comes to the NJ online sports betting.
Hard Rock Atlantic City just launched its new sportsbook app, about a week before Super Bowl Sunday.
The launch of the mobile app brands NJ 10th online sportsbook. Gamblers within the Garden State now have a plethora of options to find as much as possible, strange prop bets as possible, before the Patriots of the Rams this weekend.
Hard Rock AC got permission Jan. 25 of the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to start testing the app for mobile sports betting. The official soft-play ” period began on Saturday.
A small problem for the Hard Rock’s start
The news broke about Hard Rock online sportsbook in part by an accident Friday. Gaming Innovation Group (GiG), the company behind the sportsbook app, sent out a press release, but it was supposed to be embargoed.
After the release of the website, the app went live the next day.
Despite the accident, all parties involved are very excited optimistic about their future together.

even though the casino missed its chance to accept bets all football season, it will be available for one of the most popular betting days of the year with the Super Bowl in 2019 and March Madness.
The online book will also offer lines to other common sports such as basketball, hockey, football, baseball and college sports.
Hard Rock AC adds a land-based sportsbook
As said before, Hard Rock and Action from the partnership includes a land-based sportsbook on the Atlantic City location. The on-site sportsbook open Wednesday.
The new retail-book is still a temporary space with a more extensive, permanent book to come in the future.

Both land-based and online bookmakers, as well as the Hard Rock casino online, all powered by the Performance. For NJ sports betting fans, this means that the NJ gambling website shares in a portfolio with the online sportsbook.
Resorts joins NJ online sports betting crowd,
Not to be outdone, Resorts launched his own brand of online sportsbook with partner SBTech on Thursday. The addition brings the total online sportsbook count in New Jersey, to and with 11.
Resorts, for its part, has already made a name for itself through its partnership with DraftKings Sportsbook and BetStars NJ. Combined, the two have brought the digital end of the company to the top of the market. Now it has filled its quota of online sports betting skins with three.
